Over indebted due to interest charged

I have revolving loan which I paid for almost two years then I lost my job of which I told them about. I was trying to pay even though was not full instalments after a year I found the job but my account was handed over the interest charged on that account is not making any difference even though I'm paying. I complained to Norton Attorneys and the lady told me to contact STB but my bank says I must contact the Attorneys regarding my complain. I want to finish paying but that interest is too much for me. I borrowed R21000 which I paid two years before I lost my job after a year I started paying again but my balance R49000 why I don't know and how long I'm going to struggle with this account.
