Over an hour waiting period to speak to a consulta

Wanted open a credit card here at standard bank even though i dont bank with standard bank. I arrived here at 8:40. It is now 09:44 and the queue hasn't even MOVED since i arrived here. How long is this gonna take??? Id rather go back to my own bank then since the service here is so pathetic! The staff dont even come to inform you what is going on and ontop of everything else the indian consultant that is working here is only helping all her friends from outside where as theres 7 people waiting in a queue to be served!
