Outdated IT systems

I wanted to register for the Standard Bank UCOUNT rewards program but could not because my cell phone number needed to be updated. So I went into Standard Bank stood in long queue for 30 minutes and managed to get all my personal details updated. Then I tried to register for UCOUNT again without success. My cell phone number has still not been updated. I sent 2 emails to UCOUNT complaining about this. I was told that it takes 5 to 7 working days for changes in personal details to reflect. A week later nothing has been updated yet.<br> <br> Surely in this day and age 2015 it cannot possibly take that long to update personal details !!! I cannot understand why with all the modern day technology at our disposal it takes this long. Anyway I think its time to move accounts to another bank where I actually DO COUNT and it does not take 5 to 7 working days to update personal details.
