Online *****

On 2 December 2015, there was R94 500.00 ****** out of my business account. I received a sim-swap from vodacom which I never app**** for, and that same day the money was ******. I become aware of it the next morning where I went to the bank and reported the theft. I also went to the police to open a case. On 9 December they recovered R62 614-17 and the rest (R31 882.54) they are not going to pay back because it is my unaware negligence that the money was ******. Now they tell me that I am a victim of Phishing *****. What that means is that I or either open an ***** email from standardbank and open links on this email and access my personal information (which I never never did), or I went to do banking at internet cafes (which I never never did), or I bought things on the internet with my card (which I never did). So how is it possible that I was negligent. I only do banking on standardbank's website that was suppose to keep my money save. No one up to date gave me any evidence of my negligence, they just assume. This is unacceptable and clearly there is a problem with the banks online security systems and clearly an internal problem at standardbank and vodacom.
