online banking login

I would like to view my student loan's balance via online banking, but I dont have a login, as I dont bank at standard bank. I only have student loan with them. I tried calling their customer service to setup a login. First I was put through to general enquiries, I explained what I would like to do and they told me they are unable to assist and that I would need to be put through to student loans. Not knowing how any of this is suppose to work, I waited to be helped by student loans. Halfway thought explaining my dilemma, I was told that they can't assist me with my query, but would \assist me"by putting me through to Internet banking. This sounded like we are on the right track now"
