On the 1st of very month my UK pension is payed in Ponds sterling
On the 1st of very month my UK pension is payed in Ponds sterling. Three months ago a standing instruction form had to be completed for the reserve bank declaring inward foreign currencies. This was to eliminate acceptance by sms or phone now not allowed by the reserve bank. Since then I get NO notification from Standard Bank of the transfered funds. The funds do not show in my account. It has taken several emails and phone calls each month to get the funds converted to Rands and paid into my account. For the last 3 months funds have only been deposited on the 5th of the month, each month there have been different excuses and requests for a full explanation from senior management has been ignored. As a private banking client this is totally unacceptable. Should I change banks after almost 40 years?
