This is the first bank that I see charges a finance charge and a cash finance charge on a credit card account. You can never seem to win. What a heap to **** you pay R1800 min requirement only to be left with R170 once all the charges have gone off. How does thats work . I have a credit card facility with FNB as well i pay R991 overall charges standard bank Credit card fees is R1338.74 how is this even justified and you charged a finance fee and a cash finance fee so what you paying for the cash you deposit imagine !!!!

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding your inquiry about credit card fees.
Please be aware that interest (cash finance charges) is applicable to all cash-related transactions, which include ATM cash withdrawals, cash advances from branches, electronic account payments, inter-account transfers, the purchase of travellers cheques, and petrol purchases.
This interest will be charged from the date of each transaction until the day before the respective debits are settled. You will see this charge reflected on your statement each month until the cash transaction is fully paid off.
Furthermore, please note that all future cash transactions will incur daily interest, which will also be charged upon the closure of your statement.
We hope this explanation addresses your concerns. Should you have any further questions, feel free to reach out.
