Numeric / arithmetic errors on credit card statement
It has taken Standard Bank over 3 weeks to try and figure out why there are NUMERIC ERRORS on my credit card Statement.
HOW CAN A BANK SUPPLY A STATEMENT WITH ERRORS ON IT???

31 Aug 2025, 19:19The UTTER LACK of interest from Standard Bank to even UNDERSTAND this issue is astounding.
The HOURS i have spent to highlight the problem, just to be met with endless going in circles.
This is the last strike - if I am not taken seriously I WILL move all my transactional banking after 30+ years.
Worth noting that neither my wife nor my children are with Standard Bank purely based on how much nonsense they have given me.

02 Sept 2025, 12:12Standard Bank continues to gaslight me and keeps trying to convince me that it is not a problem if a Provisional statement says that 1+1 = 3.
It is enormously concerning that there is a lack of quality in IT Product Management and Business analysis that Standard Bank cannot distinguish between a provisional statement that is arithmetically WRONG, and a provisional statement that is arithmetically correct but may change.
If Standard Bank IT cannot grasp this, what else is going to go wrong in their systems
This is besides not being able to tell me after 3 weeks why their published documentation on Virtual Credit Cards does not match reality - again points to IT Product Management being seriously defective.
It is enormously concerning that there is a lack of quality in IT Product Management and Business analysis that Standard Bank cannot distinguish between a provisional statement that is arithmetically WRONG, and a provisional statement that is arithmetically correct but may change.

05 Sept 2025, 13:033 days later. No response. After a month and countless escalations: two very basic, reasonable issues cannot be solved:
(1) why does Snapscan and Zapper not work with Virtual credit cards despite the FAQs stating otherwise
(2) why do I have INCORRECT SUMS on my provisional statement - Product Managers cannot grasp the difference between a statement with a numerical error and a provisional statement

3 days later. No response. After a month and countless escalations: two very basic, reasonable issues cannot be solved:
