Not worth the Executor fees

Two years after appointing Standard Trust as administrators of my Father's estate they have still not registered the Testamentary Trust specified in his Will. The Head of Trusts and Estates now says: "Should Standard Trust not be appointed as Trustees, it is unfortunately not within our scope of our administration to register the Trust". This was not their position when appointed two years ago and not the view of their Hyde Park branch. An independent Trust Attorney has also confirmed that registration of a Testamentary Trust does indeed fall within the scope of administrating the estate. Apart from the Trust issue, my general experience has been that if I do not follow up, nothing happens. Standard Trust, and specifically their Pretoria branch, has not delivered on their brand promise of "Team of experts", "Trusted brand" and "Peace of mind". They are definitely not worth the fees they charge.
