Not willing to help
My home loan is in arrears with about R6K - which I made a payment arrangement to get arrears back in line - have arranged normal instalment and also pay R2K extra over 3month to get account back on track.
However I transferred too much money over to the homeloans account and have requested them to refund me the balance - so they can keep the normal instalment and the payment arrangement and refund me the balance back. The bank have declined my request because of the arrears amount.
The problem that I have is that I don't have money for the rest of the month because of the overpayment - I would not have requested a refund of the balance if I had money to pay.
Have always loved Standard Bank, so feel really upset that they can not assist me with the matter on hand!!

Not sure who can assist me at the bank because the info is at back office and when you asked to speak with someone you hold on for 30mins to speak with consultant that has no interest in helping.
