Not so great service, Standard Bank

I went into the bank at Whale Coast Mall to draw R5 000 and first had to give my name and phone number to the person at the front counter, then was told that the minimum amount one can draw at the teller is R10 000. What the heck is that all about? I'm going to draw R9 999 from an auto-teller? Probably not. The third irritating experience from Standard Bank this week ...
