Not provided with monthly statement

I had vehicle finance with standard bank, they forcefully took the car from me as it was in arrears, even though I was paying more than the monthly installment. I requested to pay a lump sum and they refused. I was later provided with a letter that they have sold the car and I should settle the difference. I further requested a full statement of account as I have never received one and how much was the car sold for, till today I have not heard anything from them.
