Not happy!

I went to the dept of home affairs at standard bank killarney mall to do my ID on the 19th March 2021, I was told it would take 3 weeks and I will receive an sms to collect, its been 6 weeks and I still haven't heard anything and I just can't get through to them. This is unacceptable, I need that ID ASAP!

Hi, I received an email requesting documents for a re-issue of my ID because somehow home affairs is under the impression my ID was lost/******. I app**** for a new ID because I got married and my surname changed. Hence I don't need to issue any documentation.
Please assist, as this matter is rather urgent.

when will this issue be resolved??

I explained to the lady at Standard Bank, that i was changing my surname and i recall them calling home affairs to make sure that i can in fact do so at the standard bank branch. if i could not do it at the branch, why did they take my picture and fingerprints?
why was i not referred back to home affairs to do my biometrics?
why did i get an email requesting an affidavit for a ******/lost ID?
