NOT FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS

Deceased Estate between the heirs (2 sons) and their aunt. The heirs requested their share of the share block flat be sold from the start with Standard Bank Estates Durban. The final account has been done and the heirs paid out. We have queried this time and again. Their instructions were followed and now they cannot get any response from Standard Bank. We also cannot get a case number from them to send this to the ombudsman.<br> The situation to date:<br> 1. The heirs requested their share of the property be sold. The property value of R450,000 that was valued through due legal process<br> 2. They offered their aunt to purchase their share of the property at R225,000 or the heirs would buy her out at same. <br> 3. Their instructions were not followed. <br> As executors you have a legal obligation to assist the heirs and follow instructions.
