Non-compliance with Administration of Estate Act 66 of 1995
My husband died on the 10th of May 2021. On the 18 of May, I went to the High Court, who issued an Estate Letter. I went to Standard bank Bloemfontein at numerous times from the 18th of May 2021. Standard Bank refuse to issue me with any information and therefore disregarded the letter issues by the Master of the High Court. My husband bought a Kia Picanto through Standard Bank finance. Standard Bank refused to provide me information relating to the credit life insurance and the settlement amount to be paid. I am a window and now vulnerable woman, it is unacceptable for standard not to comply with the letter of the High Court. Meanwhile I have made several payments to Standard Bank regarding the deceased vehicle. To account ***3. I only want assistance and compliance instead of Standard Bank sending me from pillar to post.
