Dear Standard Bank

I have had a cheque account with you, and then opened another cheque account with you as I received correspondence that you were doing away with the Elite account.

I have never qualified for an over draft with you, upon me changing bank accounts there were alot of creditors still debiting the old account and the balance grew despite no income been deposited into the account.

It now stands at 3998.00 which I assume is made up with unpaid debit order fees and interest.

My question to you is why was I not contacted by you to close the account or put a stop on the account when it went above over R500? or even R1000.

I was then handed over to Vertex Solutions who I had an arrangement with and now have been handed over to Brodkin Attorneys which will only accept R400.00 on the account, which I should not be paying if your bankers, consultants or whatever I paid fees for did their jobs.

This is actually ridiculous and to pay back R400.00 for an account that you guys can see no money being deposited.

Or perphaps that is your strategy to make money?

Standard Bank is by far the worst bank I have dealt with. I am being handed over for an account that shouldn't even have an overdraft facility.
