No response to card application after 2 weeks!

Two Thursday's ago I app**** for a second credit card for my husband. Not a new account. Just a card. And still have had no response from Standard bank even after multiple calls, emails, messages left at banks, and even online complaints. Starting to wonder if Standard Bank wants me to leave to FNB cause they are sure acting like it.
