I keep on getting 'phishing' emails supposedly from Standard Bank. I have tried to send them emails about this 5 times and get zero response. It shows me how much they care.

31 Mar 2020, 18:13Needless to say, Standard Bank now deletes my emails without being read. So much for this Bank trying to stop 'phishing emails' I was advised where to send this type of email, but this is now what they do.

01 Apr 2020, 13:41Your reply is not acceptable. Why does Standard Bank delete 'phishing' emails without reading them. This is now my question. It is no good referring me to your previous response, as you now delete emails without reading them. What use is this??

03 Apr 2020, 13:09Still no reply from Standard Bank and I have received yet another 'phishing' email. Well done to Absa who acknowledge receipt of these types of emails and who do something about them. Well done Absa and Standard Bank - you get a thumb's down for sure. I have now received at least 10 of these 'phishing' emails and Standard Bank has done absolutely nothing. All I get is refer to my previous email. Why does the Bank not phone me. Emails tell me nothing. My number is *** or ***. Come on Standard Bank!!

08 Apr 2020, 18:14Standard Bank does not care. I am getting 'phishing' emails almost every third day and the bank does absolutely nothing about them. Absa is brilliant. They acknowledge receipt and close the site down. Gregory Solomons ask me what limit I would like to change - I never asked for any limit to be changed. I asked him to phone me and get no response. Fallie Joseph comments
I received feedback that the e-mail that you received from us is valid as a Standard bank customer sent you a payment confirmation.
Please look at your account to see if you received a payment from a Standard bank customer on the date you received the e-mail.
What a lot of ******* - needless to say he does not come back to me either. I wonder if he opened the 'phishing' email
I must say I find Standard Bank to have a 'don't care attitude' If I or somebody get **********ly taken for a few thousand all Standard Bak will do is Nothing. They will just say it's my fault.
Disgusting service

13 Apr 2020, 12:08It's now the 13th of April and still no replies from Standard Bank. I think that their service is nothing short of shocking. Even the so called "Complaint Resolution Centre" seems to be non existent. Why have this? It costs the bank money to have this but the staff don't do their jobs properly. I wonder if their Head Office knows what's going on. I have my doubts

21 Apr 2020, 16:55So much for Standard Bank - no support whatsoever. They just ignore emails. I have sent Joseph Fallie emails since 23 March. Then on 14 April, 16 April, and 20 April which he reads but chooses to ignore. Then I have sent emails to Gregory Solomons and Nyeleti Shimange which they also ignore. Fallie tells me that [mailto:***] is a valid email address - that will be the day. Certainly not a valid Standard Bank email address. I have left my telephone number and nobody has the decency to phone me. Thank goodness I am not a Standard Bank client - I would certainly close all accounts
