No Payment Holiday for Good Client

We are having a sudden loss of income due to all the social restrictions put in place by the presidency. We went to Standard Bank Lifestyle Centurion on the 17th March to request a payment holiday. The consultant phoned and asked around and said we need to be in arrears to make a payment arrangement and they do not have a thing like a payment holiday at the moment.

Help us please Standard Bank.

1. I am up to date with good payment record and your requirement for help is to fall into arrears ? 2. How do I skip a payment if your debit order is first to go off ?

At the time of writing this post I have been paying my RCP on time every month since inception (16 March 2018). That is 2 years of being a good client.

I feel this is treating a good client badly. I feel in the severe circumstances we are in, you can at least give a payment holiday.

When you do allow payment holidays you will only accommodate up to date clients, which I will not be at that time due to your previous requirement of me first being in arrears to ask for help.

Standard Bank, you are not helping at all. Actually you are now part of the problem.
