No one cares, at least not enough to have a phone line available in Forex
Yet again Standard Bank shows disregard for customer service this time by "discontinuing" their Forex Payments Inwards telephone line. I have an situation, which my Internet Banking tells me must be resolved today (not a situation where I owe them money - they are sitting on funds that should be credited to my account). There are threatening notices on their site telling me to do x but warning that if I do x incorrectly and the bank suffers loss, it will be for my account. As I am unable to speak to anyone, I cannot confirm if I am doing anything incorrectly. How dare they treat customers this way? This stress about to kill me - then they lose a customer! I have emailed ***,za as suggested by call center and received the standard acknowledgement - so helpful, I don't think. I have registered an official complaint with a very nice lady called Robyn, but she cannot guarantee it will be resolved by today. Am I going to lose my funds? Terrifying.
