No feedback provided since lodging of claim
I registered a claim with standardbank insurance on 2 February after my house was broken into. The only feedback I received was the sms confirming the reference number for the new claim. After that I never received any feedback with regard to the progress. I had to call them each time I need progress and it has been a mission to get proper feedback. At some stage they will say the person dealing with Claim will call me back but never done that. While Im awaiting feedback my house condition continue deteriorating due to hail and rain as water comes through the roof and damaged the ceiling and the carpet. When I started to complain they said they received a high volume of claims due to hail, but those claims they received are after my claim. The last time I spoke to them they said they will send the loss adjustor to my house, who came and therefater requested certain documentation which I submitted. Till today I never heard any response from them and I even gave up calling since its a mission to get through the relevant person for assistance. Why do I have to wait so long to get feedback. A simple thing like an email or sms will do to keep me posted. I am really concerned, please ass
