NO FEEDBACK AFTER THE 1st HELLO PETER COMPLAINT :(

I’d just like to voice my disappointment of Standard Bank, to date I have not had one telephone call or any feedback from anyone , if I don’t call them I won’t know what’s going on. Today again I called and again I’m being told that there is an amount of R 12 000 outstanding on trans union this is exactly what I explained a million times before and I submitted a police affidavit, I was told a police affidavit is not accepted how on earth is that possible?.

This has been carrying on since the 13.05.2016 and still no answer as to where I stand. As an individual I find this totally unacceptable, What is the point of using my own bank when they can’t or won’t help me?. I would have not gone to such trouble if I could not afford the property.

I should have gone with FNB they at least contacted me regularly and actually cared, I am strongly thinking about going to the ombudsman man as I feel I am being treated unfairly, I also feel that should my application be declined after a month of blood , sweat and tears and a crazy high phone bill then the system is defiantly *******. If it has been declined I would like a full explanation of what the point of arbitration is as well as why it took a month (longer by then) to give me an answer?, DO all the clients wait this long?

I have also been told that the application is for 80% of the bond which will not help as where do I come up with two hundred and fifty thousand rand to cover the balance, if I had access to that sort of money I wouldn’t be applying thru a bank but rather paying cash. I am not applying for a two million rand bond , it’s a simpler (smaller) amount which clearly I can afford monthly as I already pay R9500.00 monthly and have never ever missed a payment.

I also feel that should my application be declined that the number of “mortgage checks” that have been done on both mine and my husband’s name need to be removed as Standard bank did them under false pretences knowing they will not be granting a bond. Both myself and my husband have received notices from ITC on a number of occasion about mortgage checks binging done.

I’m not sure what the actual problem is with my application , I’m not sure if it’s a “maybe she will go away” story or what but I must say as a first time buyer I am so NEVER EVER doing this again it is a NIGHTMARE. I must also state that Standard Bank should also take in to consideration the fifty thousand rand loan they gave me without a blink and the credit card they gave me without a blink that is a total of nearly eighty thousand rand but giving me a home loan of which they have something to hold on it of R1 ********** 0 is virtually impossible.
