No customer protection, regard and exprience

<p>Just when you think that Standard Bank cant disappoint you any further! Standard Bank Vehicle Finance doesn’t ensue my monthly statements. I have to call and request each time, I fix the communication medium but nothing has changed.</p> <p>I am a manual payer because my experience with the bank debiting my cheque account left me bruised hence I prefer to manage this process. But, Standard Bank will continue to shock and inconvenience their customers. The latest debacle stands with my account in arrears because “a campaign was run on vehicles that were financed by the bank and those that were deemed to not have one were automatically signed up with Hollard Insurance” says the gentlemen from the Vehicle Credit department. Given their broken customer experience, after he delivered the most shocking news I of course had to be routed elsewhere to “reverse” this at my own airtime costs of course.</p> <p>Here is my frustration, at which point can the bank decide to ensure cars just because they financed them? I have had the greatest pleasure of hunting for insurance so I am perplexed that in the background, the bank could confirm where the car is parked, whether I am inbound or outbound, whether the tracking unit has ben fitted, which excess option to go for or not…you know all the things that add up with insurance!</p> <p>The next shock is how on earth is car installment and insurance now a bundled-up amount. Why is Hollard going through vehicle finance and not my cheque account?</p>
