No contact information Standard Bank Kingsmead

For the past week I tried contacting Kingsmead branch to check progress on my passport application after creating a profile on DHA website, filling in all fields and going up to branch booking then cant go any further. Phone calls get cut, customer services put me though 3 or 4 departments then on hold for 15 minutes, i just cut the call. Can someone respond please or tell me if passport application at this branch is possible or not. I am a standard bank credit card holder. If this is the level of service Standard bank offers i will settle my account and move to ABSA.

So I got a call from Nosipho in standard bank kingmead, she said their branch does not issue or facilitate passport applications. Home affairs is the same building as standard bank so people get directed to Home Affairs in Standard Bank House, is that correct.

The information provided is correct, Standard Bank does house Home Affairs within its premises. The Standard bank branch does not facilitate any Home Affairs processes relating to applications, however we do assist with payment processing to the Home Affairs under My Bills.

Why does Standard bank website say below. take pictures and fingerprints at specialised standard bank branch, pick up smart ids and passports. Its doesn't say Home affairs branch in standard bank house. Screenshot 2022-07-29 14.25.43.png 270.19 KB
