NO communication LACK of customer service!

In short, my father, who is a Standard Bank account holder, had a stroke in February 2015. He is bedridden, cannot talk, write, or get in a wheelchair. On Saturday,23 Mar,I went to SBSA at Fourways Crossing, to try get him a new bank card, as I could not find his existing card. A general POA does not help! The consultant paged through the documents and then left the counter to tell me that I need a letter from the doctor. I then demanded to see the manager who was busy, so I walked out as there was a very very long queue. <br> I then returned on Saturday, 4 Apr, demanding to speak to the highest level. Melanie assisted and took down the details on a piece of paper. She confirmed that SBSA would send out a mobile unit to issue my father a new debit card either Tues or Wed 7 or 8th. This did not happen. I then received a call from Elsie in which she left a message \she wanted to find out something"and I was to call her on ***. Well try dialing this number"
