NO but NO Service from Standard bank to cancel a cession in a deceased estate

NO but NO reply or assistance from Standard Bank Deceased Department My husband is the executor of his late father's estate. His late father has a policy with Sanlam but Standard Bank holds a cession on the policy. He has been attempting since 23 January 2026 to get a cession cancellation letter from Standard Bank but NO AVAIL. After a telephone call to the deceased department he was informed to include Douglas Mjekula and Arshaad Toffie in the email but either they are on long leave or do not know how to read and respond to emails as NONE of the 2 even bothered to reply. Eventually Kevin Pillay rep**** stating that the department head will contact my husband - this was on 14 April 2026 - but to no surprise - NO call was received. Then on the other hand we have Mac******ts Attorney's (who is acting on Standard Banks behalf) continuously informing us that interest is accumulating on the outstanding balance of credit card of my late father in law but their own client is contributing to this situation - the estate cannot be finalized without the cession on the policy being cancelled!!!!!!!!!! It is mind boggling as to why Standard bank has not cancelled the cession when the bond was paid off quite a while back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
