New website promotion

Hi - It seems that the web developers promoting your new website do not understand human psychology. For weeks I have logged in as usual and then seen plenty promotion of the new website. There is a link to more about the website but there is no link anywhere to allow me to try out the website. Weeks later I eventually phoned helpdesk who pointed me to more promotion material on the right hand side of the login page with a link to the new website beneath it. Wrong place for all this promotion because the subscriber automatically goes through the logging in process without noticing the usual other 'stuff' that appears on that page. So I tried that link but then am presented with options to logon to the existing site or if already linked to the new site, to enter credentials there. So - I am not yet a user of the new site so I choose to logon to the old site, from which I am led to expect I can register for the new site. BUT - my log in takes me to the exact same site as where I usually log onto with all the new website promotion but no link to it! This is a typical case of web developers seeing the website in their own heads and wondering why what they already know is not obvious to the outside user. Developers - sorry guys but you do not pass the grade on this project. Bottom line - I still do not know how to access the new web site. Can someone please help?
