new way of making money at SBSA through honoring fees instead of charging unpaid item fee as per contract
standard bank has been charging mr honoring fees for debit order, i dont know since when is it a must for the bank to honor debit order. on their pricing guide they have a R1o fee for unpaid debit which means a debit order if there's no money its supposed to bounce, i never signed a contract or gave SBSA consent to honor my debit orders. i am unemployed and have no solid salary but come the 20th i make sure there's money on my account. what SBSA does is to process debits and straight at midnight, at 1am when i transfer from my other SBSa account they have already debitted and they charge me honring fee even though i transfer money on the same day. when i called transactional banking they told me that at the time debits went off i had no funds, so i asked then if my mandate stipulate time of debit or if it says on which date to debit, then they dont want to answer. i signed for my debits to go on the 20th not at 1am on the 20th, and to make matters worse for my master card and homeloan they debit around 7am when i question them on the inconsistency they give me attitude. january they charged me R800 for honoring, instead of my debit bouncing then as per pricing and contract they should charge R10 for unpaid debit debit. it seems to me that SBSA is mandating honoring of debits to make money since they charge R100 instead of R10 for an unpaid fee. now again 20th march they have done it again i need all those fees reverse or the ombad will have to investigate while i close all my 9 accounts including investments at SBSA. day light ******* and they wonder why everyone is switching from them.
two ref numbers i got from transactional banking for march only what about all the money they took in January
