New Prestige Account holder misled about Will Drafting fee

4 reviews | Active since Aug 2019 I am currently based in Lonehill and went to Durban in March 2020 to open a Prestige Account with Standard Bank at Glenwood Branch. I also enquired about the fees for Will Drafting and the Consultant confirmed that Will Drafting was free for Prestige Account holders. I went back to Durban in July for my Will Drafting and subsequently noticed that my account was debited with R535. I made several calls and sent emails to my Prestige Account Manager enquiring about the charge and she confirmed that I would be refunded. The reason given for the delay was that the Branch was closed due to Covid-19. But I was surprised when I followed up again on the 09 October 2020 and received an email confirming that the fee would not be refunded as the offer ended on the 30 June 2020. My concern as the customer is that I was misled in believing that this service was free for Prestige Account holders.
