New home owner dissatisfaction

I recently purchased a property and bonded through standard bank after moving into the place I came to find that the roof has extensive leaks and was not disclosed In the sale.

I do not expect standard bank to fix the roof but I do expect some sort of assistance in getting the legal entities involved to take ownership and responsibility for the repairs due.
