New Debit Card Problems

I went into my Fourways branch to get a new bank card and that all went fine so I thought.

When I got home I could not logon to the Internet banking so I have to phone the Standard Bank call centre and it took a long time for them to fix the problem to get me logged in.

When I was finally in I found that all me beneficiaries where missing and the Standard Bank call centre said I must go back to my branch and have them all re linked. What a waste of time just to replace an old card that was falling apart.

Good Day

Thanks for getting back to me.

Just to update my post as I had to go back to the branch this morning and it was Mpho Sefatsa that attaended to me. I aslo have a photo of him and a voice recording.

Please note myself and my wife had to travel to the branch again and spend nearly three hours waiting for the problem to be fixed.

I will be expecting compinsation for my time and my wifes time for the time we spent at the bank as we invoice our time our to our clinets and could not do so as we had to sit at Standard Bank. Also the travel time and that would come to about R2'000.00.

Please note when I got back to my office the second card is still not worknig correctly.

Regards,

J-P Hartzenberg
