Never finance via Standard Bank

Never finance your vehicle with Standard Bank. I have been a client for the last 32 years. I don’t owe Standard Bank anything and have several Business accounts, all my private accounts and investment accou8ns with STD bank. So, they send me a message to say that we are pre-approved for vehicle finance as we have a fleet of vehicles. We decided to replace one of the vehicles and change our financing from Wesbank to Std bank hoping this will be faster. Boy was I wrong. It has been more than two weeks since I send them the invoice for the vehicle and I still I do not have a contract. So, I decided to go back to Wesbank and use their service for the purchase. Now Standard bank have the vehicle details locked on their “contract” and no other finance institution can work on that car. DON’T EVER make use of Standard Bank “pre-approved” service. It suck and their *********** staff try to shift the blame to me, the dealer or anyone else they can think off.
