My bond was cancelled by the bank without power of attorney letter from me

My home loan was approved by standard bank.

I occupied the newly built complex on august 3...the unit was not built up to scratch, my first problem was that the bank never notified me when the funds were release. 2nd they never came out to do an inspection of the unit.

3rd. The developer offered to by the unit from me because they couldn't fix the problem I had.

on the 12th of September 2019 I received an sms saying that my bond has been cancelled.

I call the bank to ask them why this happened, they said Barnard attorney's claimed to be representing me and they they are the ones who called the bank to cancel my bond.

The issue I'm having with this is that the bank was not given a letter by these attorney's stating that they representing me and also no power of attorney from me but somehow the bank still cancels my bond with these relative documents....as we are speaking I do not have a bond and my name looks bad because of this, this will be on my record for life.
