My bank can't protect me!

I have surrendered a vehicle to Standard Bank because of a very challenging situation in my separation from my Ex-wife who works for vehicle asset and finance at Standard Bank. She has been defaulting on payments which are now leading to legal and financial implications because the finance is in my name. This vehicle cannot be taken from her, and she now is giving the bank the run around as the upliftment personnel informed me that for a second time the collection has been moved.

Standard Bank has informed that legal action is the next step of which I will be contacted by lawyers. I cannot afford this vehicle hence me surrendering it. I currently have a bond with them that I have never missed a payment on and that carries no weight in this situation they just want their money.

I have duly informed the bank several times regarding this vehicle, how do I intrust any future business with a bank that cannot protect me when my financials are stake due to an intentional action by their staff.

I’m at a loss for words, I am now awaiting response for the vehicle to collected 21/11/23 at 5pm. Should this not be successful a court order which will take 3-4 months will need to be obtained by their legal team and the sheriff will then execute the upliftment. With all that said I will still be held liable for payments of which I advised I cannot make.

Standard Bank I am appalled as a client of many years who has made use of your facilities to be treated in this manner because where is the integrity for protecting me.
