MY 200K LOAN BECAME 1.2MILLION AND WAS REJECTED A

I spent 3 hours with a prestige banker at Sandton City applying for a 2nd bond for 200K in order to consolidate my debt onto my home loan. 48 hours I'm told for a decision to be made. 2 weeks later(today) I phone the bank home loans department to find that the application for 1.2 Million is rejected. I never asked for 1.2 miliion in the first place. I'm told that this is because I am behind 20 times on payments on credit cards. That's the reason i went to the bank in the first place. never missed a bond payment in 3 and a bit years. The bank was quick to sign me up for a cheque account and R30K overdraft for which incidentally I also have never heard a thing either. No better than the rest Standard Bank. Thought your bank was different.
