Multiple Honouring Fees
Good Day
I have been using standard bank for years, and been happy with the service. I woke up to a surprise of honouring fees, a lot of them and I don't understand. All the money in my account is now going to standarbank for fees.

An honoring fee is charged when a transaction is processed despite there being insufficient funds in your account. This usually applies to transactions that had not yet been banked by the merchant at the time.
The bank covers the shortfall to ensure the transaction is not declined, and the fee reflects that service.
We recommend reviewing your statement for any transactions that may have been banked late while there were insufficient funds available.
Please also note that service fees charged to your account are deducted from your available balance, including any latest and available funds.
