Good day Clint, There was no matter to be resolved, as I have given an instruction not to reverse the debit order, as per your email below, I can not instruct the bank to open its door on Christmas day, for me to do a manual payment, because Standard bank project team messed things up. I am sure what Standard bank has done & how they intent to rectify the matter is not align to the banking industry. I have copied your email below to show the public on the instruction that was sent to me. I have also taken this matter with the Ombudsman, as this is unfair to the customer "Good morning Mr Moonsamy I refer to your complaint you logged on the Hello Peter website and would like to apologise for the inconvenience the matter has caused you. Please also accept our apology for the fact that the SMS came through after the debit order was processed and this will be addressed with the project team as the message was supposed to go out first to make the customer aware. In light of the above, We will be able to reverse the debit order tomorrow as it is not yet reflecting on the reversal system and it will be credited back into your cheque account on Friday. Kindly be advised that you will also have to make a manual payment to the account on the date the debit order was supposed to go through. I do apologise once again for this inconvenience the matter has caused you. Kind regards"
