<p>My husband got retrenched. He needed some cash urgently so he went to Stand Bank with whom he has been banking for years. Gave them the letter with the breakdown of the amount going in on the 25th and asked for an advance of R5000.00 - of his own money. They declined based on credit report. So - they won't lend you your own money even though you are going to pay through the neck for the priviledge of borrowing your own money</p>
