Monthly withdrawals

Standard bank is at it again, this time day light *******. They apparently decided from the 1st of February 2019 to put a cap on the monthly amount that we can withdraw without any additional charges, once the cap is reached, charge us as much as 15% of the amount withdrawn. The monthly cap has no bearing to how much your salary/monthly deposits are. Bear in mind that we still have to pay the same monthly service fee that in the past used to give us 6-8 withdrawals per month depending on the type of account that one has with standard bank. The monthly service fee went up in February 2019 and yet the services offered have now been significantly reduced. My salary goes straight into my cheque account, and now standard bank has decided to penalize us for banking with them.

Granted, the economy is tough and everyone is struggling, does this mean that our bank must now rob us in order to survive. Luckily there are other banks that still value their clients, and I am now finally done with their arrogance. I hope that others would do the same and move their accounts to other banks.
