Monthly payment limit to take 8 days…??? Really

I went to standard bank Ballito today, I need to make a payment today. They won’t increase my monthly payment limit. They are telling me the process will take up to the 9th of December,today is the 30th November hey ,I thought the lady was joking ,no she wasn’t believe me. They want to investigate the source of the funds that I want to make payment with. That is not a problem,but to take the whole week ,then that is a problem. The funds are from a local conveyancer I don’t understand why it would take such a long time to find out that as if it’s from another country. My goodness I can’t believe this,you can miss deadlines!!. And it doesn’t help asking them to increase the limit in advance so as to cover the date you want to make a payment on ,I was once told that they cannot increase the limit cause the funds were not in my account yet. How crazy is that!!. Oh no,I know they need investigate certain things but no this is waaaay too much.
