Month end blues

Every month end at the Petrol Station, all debit card machines decline payment after filling petrol. This has happened on several occasions including the App being down. Other customers with different cards such as Nedbank works instantly, eventually I had to use cash to save frustration with the petrol attendant. U-count rewards down the drain as the Cheque card does not swipe, this happened to several customers at Caltex. Standard bank is going downhill or maybe it’s already in the pit. Highly poor service, declined is all that you get when you use the debit machine. Embarrassing for a bank that says it’s simpler, faster, better. It’s the complete opposite. Complicated, slower, worst service ever on a month end, please pay your technical team better salary to maintain your systems and get your house in order. Customer of 25 years has seen enough with this woeful bank.
