Money ****** under Standard Bank’s Watch!

Money was transferred from my account to one of Standard Bank’s customers without my approval. In response, the bank offered a partial refund without providing full reasons or any meaningful explanation. I have repeatedly asked for a detailed account of how my banking app was accessed without my consent, yet no explanation has been provided.

The ***** investigation team quickly redirects me to the complaints department, and after speaking with a representative there, I am even more discouraged. Her immediate suggestion that I approach the Ombudsman made it clear that obtaining answers or my money will be an uphill battle.

My experience with Standard Bank has been deeply disappointing. I never encountered ***** when I banked with FNB, yet since joining Standard Bank I have had to deal with multiple incidents. This latest experience has completely eroded my confidence in the bank’s ability to safeguard my account or handle *****ulent activity properly.

I want my money returned in full, and I will not stop pursuing this matter until it is resolved.
