Money making bussniss

Good day. I opened an standard bank account in 2020,thought i would be able to use the account as i do have a home loan there, but covid happened. I then never used the acccount and its accumalating service fees. I went into standaed bank n1 city, were the manager told me i cant close the acccount i need to downgrade so the service fees is not as much, but i need to pay the account in order to close the account. Up till today its still accumalating fees and i dont use that accont at all. I am going to report this case to the ombudsman cause this i feel is clearly a case of making money.
