Money making - bad service!!!!!
I am in the process of selling my flat and as per my agent I have informed/notified my bank that I put my unit in the market. The normal 90 days cancellation notice was given. When I inquired about the 90 process I was informed that should I sell my place with in the 90days I will not pay a cancellation penalty because I have informed my bank that I am busy selling my place. My unit was not sold so I renewed the 90 days' notice. To my horror I am still paying a bond cancellation penalty and according to the bank you will always pay this fee...their formula (Outstanding balance X rate X 90 days/365). This is ****************!!!!!! So even though you have informed my bank you will always pay a penalty!!! Standard Bank really????? So what if you sold you place in the 1st week after you informed your bank that means you will even pay more!!! Why then inform the bank!!!
