Misleading emails, poor service

On 06 July, 2017, I received an email stating that my Bluebean Gold card was converting to a Standard Bank card and that I would then qualify for ucount rewards. No mention was made of the fact that a registration process was required. I had been considering ditching the Bluebean card as Bluebean had no rewards programme. On 21 November, 2017, Two months after the conversion, a further email was sent advising that a registration was necessary in order to qualify for the rewards. For those two months I had channelled meaningful purchases through the card in order to gain rewards. On 23 November I spent 21 minutes on the line waiting for a response from the SBSA helpline, and this morning 25 minutes. In both cases I eventually dropped the call. Standard Bank's service is pathetic and their emails misleading
