Migrating accounts without permission
I am not impressed with Standard banks lack of accountability on their actions I was moved without my permission from an Elite account to a Prestige account, and then started deducting additional fees for the move, I spoke to their call centre and asked to me moved back to the Elite package, however I still wanted an explanation on why I was moved and charged without my authorization. I was told that this had been escalated to Michen Pillay ( their manager ) and I would be contacted last week, for them to explain why, but no surprize nobody contacted me

26 Oct 2020, 09:35I wanted to make two complaints, but Hello Peter wont allow me to for the same supplier. I was also sent an SMS on the 8th of September stating that my Home loan relief was extended by another 3 months, My wife has been temporarily laid off and is not receiving her TERS money so the SMS was a welcome relief that we will still be able to make it a couple more months, however my debit order for my bond went off this morning, and when I called Standard Bank, the response I got was first the SMS was a mistake and there is nothing they can do, then it was that because the bond is in my wifes and my name it was just to inform me that there was an extension a couple month ago, which is ridiculous, I am also waiting for their team leader to call me but will not hold my breath
