Messing up my credit record and no decency to respond to my complaint
I LOGGED A COMPLAINT ON SBSA WEBSITE AND SENT A MAIL TO THEIR CUSTOMER RESOLUTION ON THE 22ND JUNE 2020.
TO DATE NO RESPONSE.
Since March this year, I have been calling your call centres to move my credit card debit order date to the 25th of each month as my salary is now paid on the 25th of each month. 3 calls since March – 3 promises that is has been changed and my debit order for my credit card still goes off on the 20th.
This has caused an overdrawn position on my current account as I had insufficient funds to cater for the debit order.
Now, my credit record and my credit scoring has been affected – in a time where I wanted to apply for an increase in my overdraft in the most trying time the world is in.
I also had to dig into my savings to clear the excess position and avoid an unpaid debit order on my account.
Im now out of pocket when I made every attempt to change the debit order date – since March 2020. I had to use my savings to clear this excess.
Its unfair guys, what more must I do here? To top it off, I receive the below mail.
This is no fault of mine but the fault is with Standard Bank and the systems you use.
People are desperate in this Covid 19 pandemic and this makes life so much more difficult.
Please only contact me between 8am and 16:00 pm
