LOTTO WINNER, NO, INVALID LOTTO NUMBERS FROM STANDARD BANK
LOTTO WINNER...................OR NOT.................... I played lotto through my Standard bank App on my cellphone.... I am not a wealthy man by any means. I'm married with 2 children. I used my hard earned money and played lotto through my Standard Bank app to stand a chance to maybe win the lotto. When the Lotto numbers came up on the 5 August 2020, i checked if I won. To my surprise the Lotto numbers issued to me via Standard Bank App was INCORRECT. my one line A read 1, 9, 14, 25, 29, 1 (repeat number) my second line B read 11, 15, 16, 29, 32, 11 (again a repeat number in the same line. How can you have repeat numbers in the same line. I will attach my SMS from Standard Bank. This tells me that the whole line is invalid and wrong. So I could have won the Lotto. The Standard Bank app issued incorrect numbers and not Ithuba National Lottery South Africa. I called Standard Bank and they denied its the banks problem or error. I then called the Lotto customer care who informed me its definitely Standard Banks fault as i purchased the Lotto ticket through my Standard Bank app and the SMS in response was from Standard Bank. The SMS say's "please call ***for queries" which i did. The number ***is a Stand Bank customer care number. The Standard Bank customer care lady said its not there fault. I called and called again. I spent R100's of Rands calling Standard Bank and not a single person helped me. So I really feel I've been done in as I could very well have been a Lotto Winner. I speak up for ALL poor South Africans spending there last cent on playing Lotto through Standard Bank. Many of them that can't phone or email or contact Standard Bank for queries. I must make a stand today and be the voice. What can Standard Bank do for me today. I will determine what I need to do with the response I get. I believe that this should go public by means of social media or Carte Blanche so that our fellow countrymen are to be warned about spending money with Standard Bank and there faulty apps or investments. I await your remedy Standard Bank. STANDARD BANK REF NO. V***

I truly feel that Standard Bank is just waiting for this to blow over. This is a very serious matter to me and all other South Africans that has been done in.
I contacted Lotto to understand what happens when I receive repeat numbers from my Standard Bank app. It was told to me Lotto South Africa cannot accept the money for invalid numbers. This means that Standard Bank pockets my money I used for Lotto.
How many South Africans have lost their money like this. It's a disgrace.
I have also contacted Carte Blanche and await their response. I have no doubt that this will go live on social media. This is no threat, I just feel someone needs to be the voice for South Africans that have been in this predicament before that have no means to report or investigate.
I must reiterate I very well may have won the lotto but it's impossible if i have been issued 2 invalid quick pick lines generated by Standard Bank App. So a mere refund does not do it for me as how does it outway the potential winnings I could have won.

I have just received this message below From Standard Bank stating it is not there mistake, error or fault for the duplicate issue of numbers from there Standard Bank App in the same row.
Standard Bank says Ithuba issues the numbers and Standard Bank has no direct input in numbers being generated. This to me sounds bizarre as it comes from a Standard Bank App and ithuba's business is lotto not banking.
I have contacted Ithuba on many occasions and they have reassured me that they are not at fault or responsible as it is Standard Banks fault.
Hellopeter I really need your help please, what do I do now? Could you please send this to Lotto or do I need to start from Scratch with Lotto.
Or any Advise would be greatly appreciated,
Is there any type of ombudsman that deals with these types of issues.
I can only take action once we have identified who is truly at fault. I really want try and get to the bottom of this as I stand for my fellow South Africans that have had money taken away from them due to ****s within organisations. This must be put to trial as its so wrong and ********.
Below the message from Standard Bank. I think It would be good for Lotto to see the response as well.
Thank you Hellopeter for your services
