Lost money

I did a transfer through FNB online banking to Standard Bank credit card. Yes, the transfer was done incorrectly. But it's been 2 weeks, and neither of the banks can tell me where my money is. The transfer was done on the 30th May 2016. They are very conveniently playing the blame game, and I'm caught in the middle, with no answers. I've spent money on calls, and considerable time in the banks, often during my working hours. Yesterday a lady at the standard bank call centre tells me that the case is closed from their side, it's been resolved. But they don't let me know, they email the consultant at FNB to tell him there isn't anything they can do, he must sort it out. All I want to know is where my money is, and no one can tell me this. According to the standard bank consultant, emailing them the proof of payment so they can trace it, is a last resort. My proof of payment has gone through to them five times already. Twice to their query departments, twice to call centre consultants, and once from a FNB consultant. All this to no avail. I shouldn't need to justify why I need the money, it's my money. And I would very much like to have it back. If neither of the banks can claim responsibility for this, I won't even ask who's going to compensate me for the inconvenience, the time, the money spent on airtime, as well as making me look like a person who can't keep to her commitments. Yes, part of that money was payment due, and now I look like a ****. Apparently I'm asking for too much in wanting to know where my money is!
