Lost bank transaction

Can Standard bank be able to help it's clients their lost finances. My husband and I use FNB and we work together in our financial matters. On the 27th of February an amount of R10000 appeared in my husband's FNB account. Reflecting that it was a magtape transaction. With a reference of 1419. We didn't know where it came from as we were not expecting any funds. We visited FNB but they could not trace the transfering account but they could only tell us that it was a standard bank account that transferred. We don't know how else to help the person who transferred their money into this account. But if standard bank can locate we are happy to meet the person. And we have put the money in one of our savings account so that it is not costing us charges. If anyone knows let us know the next step to help the person who lost their money and could not trace it to us

Dear Standard Bank. Thank you for your response. But how long will it take before you manage to get the matter solved. Is there any information needed by the bank to help this person get their money back. If required from me please contact me on the phone number that I provided and I will give you the necessary information. If you would like me to visit a branch you have to let me know.
Kind regards Mary
